3 Months in
Now I can say I know how everything works around here, as in, the team, different responsibilities, and goals.
Is cool when you have that feeling of "I know what I am doing" after being on an obvious learning curve. I say obvious because you are the new one, everything is different. You have to learn tools, technology, processes, team members' way of working, just to name a few.
During these 3 months, I did apply all my skillset and put it to the test. Having that confidence in my previous knowledge and experience is what has helped to build this sense of "I know what I am doing".
I can summarize it in a very general but small list.
How:
- Believe in what you know, either school or work or both.
- Research what you are expected to do
- Ask questions
- Have an open mind to fail and receive feedback
- Trust the team you are on
- Get the Org Chart to visually identify who is who in the organization.
- Network and build relationships
Keep going, you got this.😎
